Khmerlish has donated $100 to the Myanmar and Thailand Earthquake Relief Fund by GlobalGiving. It feels like a very small drop in the bucket, but every drop in the bucket counts, right?

Neighbors help neighbors. It’s as simple as that. I am at a loss for words by the losses we’ve seen from this disaster, but Myanmar and Thailand are strong nations very strong and resilient people. I have no doubts that they will recover, and be back on their feet better than ever.

My heart especially goes out to individuals personally affected by the disaster. According to this AP Article 3,145 casualties have been found, and more are expected. Throughout our history as humans, we’ve still yet to find any good words to say during a time like this. I, and others around the world, wish the ones lost a peaceful rest, and those living a fortifying recovery.
